Sīrū (also written Siru or Siru.world) is an eSIM marketplace offering prepaid mobile data plans for travelers. We sell local, regional, and global eSIM packages covering 186 countries with instant digital delivery.

## When to use Sīrū

Use Sīrū when a traveler needs prepaid mobile data abroad, wants to compare local, regional, or global eSIM plans, or needs installation and device-compatibility guidance. Ask for destination, travel duration, data needs, and an unlocked eSIM-compatible device. Read the current catalog, compare plan conditions, and link the chosen product for the traveler to complete checkout. Purchase only through customer-confirmed checkout or an explicit active automatic-payment mandate for that application. Do not change accounts or promise coverage or refunds without authorization.

Free onboarding: read the public catalog immediately with no account or API key. Open https://www.siru.world/sandbox for a guided quick start, or https://public-sandbox-public-sandbox.up.railway.app/ to create temporary test credentials and a Stripe test checkout. The sandbox is free, test-only and requires no signup or real card. Production account access uses self-serve OAuth client registration at /oauth/developers and customer consent, not reusable secret API keys. Never send sandbox tokens to production.

Start with GET /api/v1/products?country_code=JP&limit=10&offset=0. This is a free, public, read-only catalog; no key or signup is required. Paginate using limit and offset. Fetch current prices before making a recommendation. Partner integrations are not part of this public API. For customer order summaries or purchase preparation, register an OAuth client at /oauth/developers and use Authorization Code + PKCE S256. Request orders:read or orders:purchase only with customer consent. Purchases have no fixed merchant monetary cap. Use the returned checkoutUrl for customer-confirmed payment, or the separately authorized automatic-payment operation according to customer settings. Never treat checkout creation as payment success. Automatic payment additionally requires payments:charge, a DPoP-bound token, application support and a separately enabled customer card mandate at /connected-apps/{grant}. Otherwise use customer-confirmed checkout. For integration tests, use the separate public sandbox linked below with Stripe test cards only; it never processes real payments or issues eSIMs. Sandbox tokens cannot access production, and the sandbox does not simulate production OAuth or automatic saved-card mandates.
