Why Sīrū

Three reasons the phone just works.

  1. 01
    Never caught offline

Low on data? We text you a top-up link.

The second you hit 80% — or your plan is about to expire — we SMS a one-tap top-up link. No logging in, no digging through an app. Two taps, back online, keep moving.

  2. 02
    No roaming games

What you see is what you pay.

Plans are per-destination, per-duration. No minutes, no overage traps, no mystery charges the day after you land. If a plan is €12, you pay €12 — end of story.

  3. 03
    Works where you actually go

Tier-1 carriers. Reliable coverage where you travel.

We connect you to trusted local carrier networks like Vodafone, O2, AT&T, and T-Mobile, so you get reliable coverage in cities, on ferries, and outside the main tourist areas.

How it works

Three steps. Sixty seconds. On.

No SIM swap. No carrier shop. No waiting until day two for the card to arrive.

  1. 01

    Pick your destination

Search the country and the length of your trip. Sīrū suggests the right data amount for how you actually travel.

  2. 02

Pay and get your QR code

Check out in under 30 seconds. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Your eSIM QR code arrives by email and in-app.

  3. 03

    Scan when you arrive

Open the QR code on your phone, scan once, and you’re on. Average time from scan to signal: 45 seconds.

  • Hey customer service is 100% and atm I’m at a remote beach on an island and no one has service here but me! So actually highly recommend 😉😉

  • Used one eSIM during a stop in Istanbul and another in Riyadh — both activated right away. Fast, reliable connection from start to finish.

  • My previous eSIM from another provider wouldn’t activate in Rome, so I switched to this one — it connected instantly. The data speed was perfect for maps and sharing photos all week. Zero stress, just worked.

Questions, answered

What travelers ask.

  • Will an eSIM work on my phone?

Every iPhone from XR onward, every Pixel from 3 onward, and most Samsung Galaxy S20+ and later support eSIM. If you bought your phone new in the last four years, the answer is almost certainly yes. Your phone also has to be carrier-unlocked.

  • Do I install before I fly, or after I land?

Before you fly. You’ll get a one-tap install link and a QR code by email — either one sets the eSIM up on your phone. Plans only start counting down after you land and connect to a local carrier, so there’s no penalty for installing early. That way, the second you step off the plane, your phone works.

  • Can I keep my regular number while I’m abroad?

Yes. The Sīrū eSIM runs alongside your physical SIM or primary eSIM. Calls and texts on your home number still arrive; mobile data just routes through Sīrū.

  • What happens if I run out of data mid-trip?

When you hit about 80% — or if your plan is close to expiring — we SMS a one-tap top-up link. Tap, pick a refill, and the new data is live instantly. No reinstalling, no logging in. You can also top up any time from the dashboard.

  • Is there a speed cap?

No. Sīrū plans run at the destination’s native carrier speed — 4G or 5G depending on local infrastructure. We don’t throttle after a threshold; when your plan runs out, you top up.

  • What about tethering / hotspot?

Supported on most plans. Each plan page shows whether hotspot is included — look for the tethering badge. When it is, you can share your connection with a laptop or a travel partner’s phone at no extra cost.

  • How is this priced compared to roaming?

Depends on your home carrier. For most EU and North American travelers, a Sīrū plan costs 60–90% less than the equivalent roaming charge for the same amount of data. Every plan is flat-rate per-destination — no overage traps.

  • What happens if I need help?

Support by email and in-app chat, 24/7. Real humans, no phone tree. Reach out from your dashboard or at support@siru.world.
