Sīrū developer sandbox — free eSIM API quick start

Build an integration with Sīrū (Siru.world), the prepaid travel eSIM provider. Read the production catalog without credentials, then test synthetic orders and Stripe test-card checkout in our isolated developer sandbox. No signup, real card, paid plan or production account is required for these tests.

Start a free sandbox session

Open the self-serve Sīrū sandbox. Click “Create temporary sandbox session,” then “Create Stripe test checkout.” Enter only a Stripe test card in the Stripe-hosted page. Refresh your synthetic orders to inspect the result. A verified Stripe test webhook determines payment status; returning from checkout alone does not prove payment. No real payment or eSIM fulfillment occurs.

The guided flow keeps credentials only in the open tab’s memory. Reloading forgets them and the current order reference. Sessions expire after two hours or a restart, and orders reset on restart. Retrying checkout within the same tab reuses its idempotency key and test order.

Call the sandbox API without JavaScript

Sandbox origin: https://public-sandbox-public-sandbox.up.railway.app

  1. GET /api/v1/sandbox/products lists the one synthetic Japan 1 GB / 7 days plan. Its EUR 1.00 price is test-only.
  2. POST /api/v1/sandbox/sessions with Content-Type: application/json and body {} returns a temporary bearer token. No personal information or email is accepted.
  3. POST /api/v1/sandbox/checkouts with Authorization: Bearer SANDBOX_TOKEN, Content-Type: application/json, a unique stable Idempotency-Key and body {"productId":"sandbox-jp-1gb"} creates the test checkout. Retry an unknown outcome with the same key and payload.
  4. Open the returned checkoutUrl and use a card from Stripe’s official testing guide. Never enter a real card.
  5. GET /api/v1/sandbox/orders with the same bearer token returns only that session’s synthetic orders.

Read the sandbox API documentation and sandbox OpenAPI specification for typed requests, errors, expiry and technical quotas. Do not put tokens in URLs, logs or public messages.

Production access and security

The live catalog is free and read-only, with no account or key required. Install the official Sīrū CLI for catalog and documentation commands: npx @siru-world/cli@0.1.0 products --country JP --limit 10.

Real customer orders and purchases use self-serve OAuth application registration, customer consent and narrowly requested scopes, as described in the Sīrū API documentation. The sandbox’s opaque temporary credentials cannot access production. Production OAuth consent and automatic saved-card mandates are not simulated here. The sandbox has no production database, supplier fulfillment or email access. Production payment authorization, bank authentication and fraud protections remain unchanged.
